Overview
Vipps and MobilePay are popular mobile payment methods in the Nordic countries (Norway, Denmark, and Finland). They are now unified under one integration through Cost+.
How It Works
To accept Vipps/MobilePay, use the payment method identifier "vipps-mobilepay" when creating an order. Including the customer's phone number in the request pre-fills their number in the app, reducing checkout friction.
Supported Currencies
Vipps/MobilePay supports NOK, DKK, and EUR transactions.
Manual Capture
Vipps/MobilePay supports manual authorization with separate capture. Set capture_mode to "manual" when creating orders if you need deferred payment settlement. You can then capture by full amount, specific amount, or by order line.
Refunds
Both full and partial refunds are supported for Vipps/MobilePay transactions.

Testing uses the Vipps test environment. Contact support@costplus.io to obtain test credentials and complete the environment setup.
